Nigeria has the highest number of Facebook users in Africa, with a staggering 51.2 million accounts.
According to Statista report, as of December 2024, Nigeria boasted over 51.2 million Facebook users, accounting for approximately 21.9% of its population.
In Kenya, there were about 17 million users, representing 30.19% of the population. Ghana had around 10 million users, making up 31.4% of its population.
Egypt, South Africa, and Morocco, which were among the first African countries to have Facebook’s monetization program, also have significant user bases, but Nigeria’s numbers are unparalleled.
