The Admiralty University of Nigeria (ADUN) in its unwavering tenacity has attained a 100% accreditation across all its programs by the National University Commission (NUC).
Making this revelation was the Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof Paul Omojo Omaji who hinted that in a quest to be internationally recognised cum advance the frontiers of human knowledge using cutting edge technologies the institute has gone ahead to achieve a 100% accreditation across all its 12 programs currently existing in the institute and has in extension set a record as the first tertiary institution to get full accreditation in its first four years of existence.
Speaking further Prof Omaji stated that to achieve this feat, a vision 12-12-21 was established to ensure that all it’s 12 programs were accredited by or before December 2021 and that the vision came out successfully as envisaged.
The Prof who said that, this is the first time this university is subjected to external reviews, also hinted that “The NUC sent us 12 panels, each having 4 members, one panel to one program and the panels were drawn from first generation universities and also from the likes of DELSU, UNIBEN amongst others”
“On the 14th of April this year, the NUC informed us that all our programs were accredited.”
While speaking on zero tolerance to cultism and other social vices amongst students, Prof. Omaji also stated that “We underline character, not just filling their heads with intellectual properties whilst taking cognizance of our leadership mantra, we are committed to ensuring that social ills don’t bedevil this university.”
