Lagos State Police Command has released singer Azeez Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley and Balogun Samson known as Sam Larry after the duo met their bail conditions.
This was contained in a terse statement issued by the state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin on Friday, November 17, noting that “Naira Marley and Sammy Larry, having met their bail conditions, have been released.”
Hundeyin, disclosed this after the artiste and the socialite perfected their bail conditions granted by Justice Adeola Olatunbosun of the Lagos State Magistrates’ Court.
The judge, Justice Olatunbosun, had on Monday, November 6 grant the duo bail in the sum of N20m with three responsible sureties.
He ruled, “As part of the bail conditions, the defendants are to surrender their passports and make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department.”
Naira Marley and Sam Larry were arrested as part of the probe into Mohbad’s death after videos of assault against the late singer surfaced the internet.
