Nigerian comedian Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY, has spoken out following his estranged wife Mabel’s confirmation of the end of their 16-year marriage.
Recall that Mabel confirmed in a recent Instagram post that her dream of a lifelong marriage has taken a “different direction,” and she was now committed to “moving forward with grace and resilience.”
She admitted that it is a challenging period, and asked for “privacy and consideration as we (my ex-husband and I) find our own path forward.”
Reacting, AY expressed optimism that the challenging period shall pass.
On his Instagram page, he wrote: “This too shall pass.”
AY had earlier cried out that his friendship/marriage of 20 years was slipping out of his hands.
