Nigerian Singer, Dammy Krane, has accused his colleague David Adeleke popularly known as Davido, of orchestrating his recent arrest.
The dispute between the two artists started last year, with Krane accusing Davido of refusing to pay him for songwriting contributions. Krane also accused Davido of sabotaging his record deal with Sony Music.
In response to the allegations, Davido labeled Krane as “ungrateful” and claimed he received no payment for their collaborations. Davido also disclosed that he provided shelter and support for Krane during a difficult time when he was homeless.
In another report, Krane accused Davido of being involved in the death of his friend Tagbo Umeike, who died from alleged alcohol poisoning in October 2017.
Following this, Davido dismissed the claims, and also threatened to sue Krane for “defamation of character and cyberbullying”.
In a recent post on X, Krane alleged that Davido had him arrested, and warned that if anything happened to him, Davido should be held accountable.
He wrote, “Oppressor @davido has paid them to arrest me,” he wrote.
“They wrote petition lying that i am into flutterwave & crypto scam just to arrest me.
“This is how they keep using the bad cops to spoil the name of the police. If anything happens to me @davido should be held responsible.”
