Global Artist, David Adeleke best known as Davido has confirmed the welcoming of his twins with Chioma Rowland a year after his three-year-old son’s tragic death.
News surfaced on Friday, October 13, that the ‘Unavailable’ crooner and his wife welcomed a set of twins, a boy and a girl, in the United States.
Davido confirmed the report while speaking at the United Masters Select Con event Saturday, October 14, noting that he and his wife were shaking upon finding out they were expecting twins.
He said, “A lot of people that those things happen to – you would never want to believe in God ever in your life.”
“But to still have faith, to still be able to do what I love, having a great team around me and just focusing… I’m almost at the finish line and that’s something that I want people to see.”
Recall that the singer, lost his son, Ifeanyi, in October 2022, speaking on his healing journey following the death of his son and the birth of his twins, said, “When my wife and I found out, we were shaking, and it was in the same month my son passed. My son passed away last year in October, and my wife gave birth this year in October.”
Ifeanyi’s death last year sparked an outpouring of emotion, with fans and colleagues from the entertainment industry sending their heartfelt condolences to the couple.
