A Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci, in a bid to set a new Guinness World Record, GWR, for the longest cooking marathon, cooked for 100 straight hours.
Hilda cooked for 4 days non-stop, starting from Thursday, 11th May to exactly 8pm on Monday, 15th May.
With so much expectations, a Nigerian, @AlexanderDGreat tweeted GWR yesterday. This was to know why they haven’t said anything on any of their social media page about Hilda Cook-A-Thon.
@AlexanderDGreat wrote, “why is @GWR not showing or talking about Hilda cook-a-Ton? Can’t see anything on their pages (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube)”.
Replying to this, GWR tweeted, “we’re aware of this amazing record attempt, we need to review all evidence before officially confirming a record”.
Today, GWR in a bid to reduce tension on the internet space tweeted that their team is reviewing the evidence from Hilda’s epic cooking marathon.
GWR tweeted, “our record team is working forward to reviewing the evidence from Hilda’s Epic cooking Marathon”.
Millions of Nigerians are anxiously waiting for satisfactory statement from the Guinness World Record organization on the highly celebrated cooking spree by Hilda Baci.
