Human Right Activist, Adetoun Onajobi, has claimed that Late Singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, approached her to help him find peace.
Onajobi disclosed this during an interview with Media Personality, Chude Jideonwo, detailing the purported encounter with Mohbad.
Recall that the late singer died at 27, on September 12, 2023. The circumstances surrounding his death stirred up controversies on social media, which led to peaceful protests by concerned Nigerians asking for Justice.
In the Interview with Chude, the activist claimed that she had an encounter with Mohbad after his demise, noting that she instructed his sympathisers to pray for him “so he can rest in peace”.
Onajobi also claimed that Mohbad told her that his spirit was restless and “could not go to heaven”.
She said, “When Mohbad started to come to me, the only thing that weakened me was when he said, ‘You know you are a two-person; you can help me.
“He specifically told me what he wanted. He said, ‘I lost track in life; I was chasing what I never needed.
“But the problem is now I cannot go to heaven, and I cannot rest; I am just like a whirlwind everywhere. I just want to rest where there is solace.
“What Mohbad wanted is more of a spiritual thing and he told me a lot of things that led to his death. I even went to five different mountains.
“When we were leaving Efun Alaye, he came clear in the sky. I was not the only one who saw it; even the other pastor saw it.
“If I had spoken, we would have settled Mohbad’s issues since, but people thought she is a clout chaser.”
