Nollywood filmmaker and actor Charles Granville, has been reported dead.
The death of Granville was disclosed in a post shared on Facebook by his friend, Umanu Elijah, on Saturday, September 24.
According to the Obituary shared by Elijah, Granville died on Thursday, September 21, after a protracted illness.
The family also noted that the burial arrangement for the Tinsel actor will soon be communicated.
The obituary read, “It is with a heavy heart that the family announces the passing of Amb Dr Charles Alexander Atombosoba Granville after a protracted illness on Thursday the 21st of September 2023.
“Words truly can’t describe impact this sudden demise is having on family friends and well-wishers, taking solace in the phrase ‘God’s knows best!’.
“Funeral arrangements will be communicated in due cause”.
The deceased was officially named IPGC’s Special Envoy to the Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS in January 2022.
