Afrobeat Artist, David Adeleke, best known as Davido has stirred emotions on the social space with the touching condolence message he shared on stage for his colleague, Wizkid, who recently lost his mother.
Davido shared the condolence message while performing at the AfroNation Festival, which Wizkid was also supposed to perform at.
While sharing the condolence message, Davido al
noted that he has lost some love ones, so he understands how it feels to loose someone.
During an interlude on stage Davido said, “I have lost a lot of people in my life, so I know how it feels like.”
He also said that Wizkid set the pace for him and others in the musical industry to compete.
“The person, that gave me, apart from me, a lot of us in the industry, room to compete.
“I whatever Wizkid has done, made his Mother Proud – Davido to Wizkid want to say a big condolences to my brother Dayo Balogun, Wizkid to his mother, May his soul rest in peace.
“Whatever he (Wizkid) has done, he has made his mother proud.”
