YouTube has removed Afrobeat singer Davido’s popular wedding anthem, ‘Ogechi Remix’, from its platform due to alleged copyright infringement claims.
The music video, which was uploaded on July 19, 2024, and featured BoyPee, Brown Joel, and Hyce, is currently unaccessible on the platform.
However, the audio version remains available on BoyPee’s official YouTube page.
The removal of the song has sparked speculation about the ownership of the track, with many questioning why Davido is not credited as the official artist on YouTube.
When reached for comment, Davido’s management team declined to speak on the matter.
