Popular Nollywood Actor, Yul Edochie has launched a telecast religious program on YouTube as “True Salvation Ministry,” and conducted its inaugural service as the Pastor of the Church on Sunday, January 28.
Before this, the screen actor, now turned Cleric, had announced on his social media handles the launch of his ministry’s live streaming on the “Yul Edochie TV” channel on YouTube.
During the livestream which attracted thousands of viewers, Yul Edochie disclosed that various individuals had previously mentioned that there was a calling on him to serve God as a preacher of the word, which he initially ignored. However, he acknowledged that he has realised that one cannot evade the plans of God.
He said, “Once you are destined to be a man of God you won’t be able to run away from it.”
Yul further disclosed how he told God he needed a physical church and large congregation to commence his ministry.
He, however, said God told him to start from where he was by using his social media influence to preach the gospel. “God told me to start from where you are,” Yul said.
Yul Edochie who is one of the sons of veteran actor, Pete Edochie, began his acting career in 2005. He has taken on significant roles in numerous Nollywood films, including “Idemili,” “Money Pass Money,” “The Last Oracle,” “Moms at War,” “The Ritual,” and many more.
