A Brazilian, Jonathan Ribeiro, has been killed by moving car in Brazil while kissing his girlfriend on the sidewalk.
According to Dail Mail reports on Friday, August 25, the 31-year-old and his girlfriend were on Sunday taking a walk with their dog in the southern zone of São Paulo when the vehicle ran into them near a gas station.
A surveillance footage released On Thursday, showed Ribeiro and his girlfriend being dragged down the sidewalk.
The driver whose name has not been released, tried to flee from the crime scene, but was held back by people around.
Ribeiro was rushed to Campo Limpo Municipal Hospital, where he died from his injuries and his girlfriend suffered a fractured shoulder and bruises to her head and legs.
Following this, a breathalyzer test was carried out by military police agents which showed that the driver was under the influence of alcohol, but not over the limit.
Drugs were also recovered from the vehicle and when the driver was interviewed about the incident, he told the cops that he had no recollection.
The Driver was arrested and charged to court.
