Hodeidah, Yemen – Houthi-run media on Saturday reports that Israeli airstrikes targeted oil storage facilities in the Yemeni port city of Hodeidah, and the extent of the damage and casualties is not yet clear.
According to Aljazera report, the airstrikes come in response to a drone attack claimed by the Houthis, which killed one person and wounded at least 10 others in the center of Tel Aviv on Friday. The attack has been condemned by Israeli authorities, who vowed to take action against those responsible.
In a separate development, the Israeli military is investigating initial reports of explosions heard in the Red Sea port city of Eilat. The cause of the blasts in Israel’s southernmost city is currently unknown.
