Kenyan authorities has arrested Brian Mwenda, an alleged imposter who purported to be a lawyer and managed to secure 26 court victories while falsely claiming to be an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
According to reports, the lawyer handled 26 cases before High Court Judges, Magistrates, and Court of Appeal Judges before his arrest, all of which he won.
He was arrested by the Law Society of Kenya Nairobi Branch Rapid Action Team (RAT) for false pretences, after they received public complaints.
Meanwhile, in a viral video, the former Kenyan Governor, Mike Sonko said he is set to bail out Brian Mwenda, adding that he will sponsor his education, and help him achieve his dream of becoming a Lawyer.
“It is very disparaging to see guys attacking this brilliant legal mind on social media… This guy has never killed anyone, he is not a criminal, ni brains zake anatumia,” Sonko added.
