The President of Gabon, Ali Bongo has called on all his friends around the world to stand up for him over coup.
Recall, SummitNigeria reported that, Gabonese military officers had announced they were “putting an end to the current regime”, on Wednesday, August 30.
In a trending video made from an unconfirmed location, obtained by the media hours after the announcement was made, shows Gabon’s deposed president, Ali Bongo Ondimba, calling on his “friends around the world to make noise” over coup.
Gabon said, “I’m sending a message to all friends that we have all over the world to tell them to make noise for (…) the people here who arrested me and my family.
“My son is somewhere, my wife is in another place, nothing is happening, I don’t know what is going on. So, I’m calling you to make noise.”
