The founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg has said that he is “not holding his breath” over the proposed bout between himself and Elon Musk.
The founder disclosed this through a post shared on his new app ‘Threads’, suggesting that 26 August will be an appropriate day for the fight, although musk is yet to respond.
Zuckerberg claiming that he was “ready today” to enter the ring, responded to Musk’s claim of the fight being streamed on X (formerly known as Twitter).
He said “Shouldn’t we use a more reliable platform that can actually raise money for charity?” he quipped.
Meanwhile, Musk shared a post on Sunday morning noting that, he has started lifting weights in preparation for the fight.
“lifting weights throughout the day, preparing for the fight”, adding: “Don’t have time to work out, so I just bring them to work.”
A video on X showed Musk lifting weights while in his San Francisco office.
Both men have been teasing each other over the fight, which so far has not been formally announced.
Musk further described the clash as “a civilised form of war”, when asked what the bout was about, Musk responded that “men love war”.
