American actress, Keke Palmer, popularly known for her role in “Nope” has filed a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, Darius Jackson, over a history of alleged abusive relationship.
In a report on New York Post, on Friday, November 9, Palmer, claims that on November 5, Jackson had trespassed into her home without consent, threatening and physically assaulting her.
The documents shared in the report detailed instances of physical violence, destruction of personal property, and emotional abuse, including threats of self-harm.
The actress, said her relationship with Jackson ended in early October due to the sustained physical and emotional abuse she experienced.
Palmer is said to have filed for sole legal and physical custody of their son, Leo, born in February.
Jackson, a fitness instructor, tweeted a photo with the couple’s child, Leodis, on Thursday night, writing, “I love you, son. See you soon.”
The former couple gained attention in July when Jackson publicly criticised Palmer for her attire at Usher’s Las Vegas residency.
“It’s the outfit tho.. you a mom,” he tweeted.
The incident led to lots of backlash against Jackson on all the social media.
