Azman Air has announced that, they have received approval from the federal government to evacuate stranded Nigerians at Egyptian border with the 409-seater airbus A340-600.
The Federal Government of Nigeria has approved the evacuation of stranded Nigerians at Egyptian border by Azman air.
Azman Air made this known on its twitter account. The airline operator wrote, “Azman Air have received approval from the federal government to evacuate Nigerians stranded at Egyptian border amid Sudan crisis with the 409-seater Airbus A340-600”
They added that, “evacuation is expected to commence Tuesday 2 of May as they await final clearance from Egypt to depart”.
This development, followed after the Nigeria government hired buses to transport 1,519 Nigerians from Khartoum to port of Sudan and other designated border points for their evacuation to Nigeria.
