The annual National Summit Young Lawyers Forum will hold from the 19th – 20th April, 2018. This was disclosed in a statement released by Mr Dayo Ashonibare, the Summit Central Planning Committee Chairman and obtained by LAWYERS BAR.
The Summit which is to hold at the Nigerian Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos has been tagged, ‘Transforming Legal Practice for Young Lawyers: The Option of Information And Communication Technology”.
The summit has been specially prepared for young lawyers to explore the benefits associated with ICT in the Practice of Law.
The statement described the Annual Summit as one of the high points of any legal year for young lawyers in Nigeria and always feature topical issues and fascinating debates to help young lawyers achieve their potentials. The Summit is also an avenue for mentorship by senior practitioners and has been described by the Nigerian Bar Association as one of its key ‘peaks of continuing legal education’ – having a sustained track record of excellent learning experience and great testimonials by participants at the Summit.
The registration fee for this year’s summit is N2000 (Two Thousand Naira) for members and N3000 (Three Thousand Naira) for non-members. Payment is to be made to the following account:

The statement further stated that the payment teller should be scanned to nbaylf2018@gmail.com for registration while the original copy would be brought to the summit for collection of registration materials.
The arrival is the 18th of April 2018, where delegates will be hosted to a welcome party/cocktail and the summit proper will be the 19th and 20th of April, 2018.
