The Federal high court sitting in Kano has declared the dethronement of The 15th Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero is illegal.
The presiding Judge, Justice Abdullahi Liman on Thursday, ruled that the reappointment of Muhammadu Sanusi II as the 16th Emir of Kano is invalid.
Justice Liman also declared that all activities conducted after the enactment of the Kano Emirate Council Repeal Law 2024 are considered invalid.
