The district court in the United States has granted the release of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Academic Record as Requested by the People Democratic Party, 2023 Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
Recall that, Atiku currently prayed to a United States of America court to prevail on the Chicago State University to clarify the inconsistency in the certificates it issued to President Tinubu.
Following this, the court issued a memorandum signed by US magistrate judge, Jeffrey Gilbert on Wednesday, noting that the application has been granted.
The memorandum partly read, “This matter is before the Court on Atiku Abubakar’s Application Pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1782 for an Order Directing Discovery from Chicago State University for Use in a Foreign Proceeding (“Application”) [ECF No. 1]. For the reasons discussed below, the Application is granted.”
