The Former governor of Yobe State, Bukar Abba Ibrahim has passed on at age 75.
This was revealed by a family source who noted that Ibrahim died on Sunday, February 4, in Saudi Arabia after a protracted illness.
The former governor, during his political life time, also served as a senator for two terms representing Yobe East Senatorial District.
Bukar Abba Ibrahim was born in 1949 in Goniri, Gujba in the old Borno state.
He was the governor of Yobe State from 29 May 1999 to 29 May 2007.
