Nollywood Actress, Jumoke George, has urged women to avoid butt lift surgery as this never ends well.
George noted this in a recent Instagram post, expressing concerns that some women are risking their lives for unnecessary cosmetic procedures.
She went on to question the motivations behind undergoing BBL surgery, asking if it’s solely to impress men.
She said, “Women, what is the colour of our problem? Because if I say I understand I am lying. The scripture says every creature was made in the image of God the most high,” she said.
“You females looking at me whose image do you think you were created? Are you telling God that He does not know what He was doing? God is perfect. What then are we looking for? God has given some long life but they intentionally cut off their lives.
“What exactly are you looking for in doing BBL? You just want to enlarge your buttocks… Are you not beautiful enough? If any man tells you that you are not beautiful enough and go enhance what God has given you or recreate yourself, tell him he is not in his right senses.
“You hear news about ladies going for BBL and losing their lives. Something that people like me who has it is even feeling it like a weight. Because when it gets to a stage it contributes to knee issues. Hardly will you see someone with big butt that would not have knee problem.
“Stop all these BBL thing. Go and rest. I know some people will listen while others will not. But it saddens my heart.”
This followed a recent report of a 36-year-old woman identified as Abiola died after a failed BBL surgery at a Lagos hospital.
