The Central Bank of Nigeria, has appointed Hassan Imam as the new Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Keystone Bank.
The appointment of Imam as the new CEO of Keystone Bank was announced in the early hours of Thursday.
His appointment comes after CBN sacked the CEO, MDs and Directors of Keystone Bank, Union Bank of Nigeria and Polaris Bank over alleged corporate governance infractions and non-compliance with regulatory requirements.
The new Keystone Bank boss takes over leadership of the commercial bank from Olaniran Olayinka, who served as CEO from March 2020 until the CBN dissolved the boards of Keystone Bank and two other banks on Wednesday, January 10.
