A High Court sitting in Abuja has adjourned the alleged N6.9bn procurement case, filed by the Federal Government against the suspended Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele, to August 23, 2023.
The Judge presiding over the case, Justice Hamza Muazu on Thursday, adjourned the matter to August 23, following the absence of the case defendants.
Emefiele was supposed to appear before the court on Thursday, alongside a female CBN employee, Sa’adatu Yaro and her company, April 1616 Investment Limited over N6.9 Billion Naira procurement Fruad.
