Federal Government has extended the free train rides for commuters to Sunday, January 7, 2024.
Recall that, the Nigerian Railway Corporation had announced the commencement of complimentary train rides for all its passengers, from Thursday, December 21, 2023 – January 4, 2024 following the directives of President Bola Tinubu.
The Federal Government in response to the high cost of living, particularly during the Yuletide season, declared a 50% waiver on interstate round transport and introduced free train rides.
