The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) has sealed off Abuja Sahad store due to the allegations of price fixing.
This is following President Bola Tinubu’s announcement on Thursday, to address the root causes of food crisis in the country.
The FCCPC took action by closing down Sahad Store, located at Garki district in Abuja on Friday, February 16.
According to report, the supermarket management has been alleged of misleading customers by applying different prices than those indicated on the shelves.
The implementation was headed by the Acting Executive Vice Chairman of FCCPC, Adamu Ahmed Abdullahi.
