Kano State Governor, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, has demolished a multi-million Naira roundabout located close to the Government House entrance.
The demolition was carried out under the supervision of security agents.
The said roundabout was remodelled and renovated by the immediate past administration of Governor Abdullahi Ganduje at the cost of N160 million in 2017.
On resumption of office, Governor Yusuf disclosed that, demolishing of some structures erected by the immediate past administration, was to ensure sustainable urban development and protect the interests of the general public.
So far, shops built by the fence of Sani Abacha Stadium at Kofar Mata, GSS Kofar Nasarawa facing IBB road and buildings by GGSS Dukawuya, Goron Dutse, has been demolished within few weeks of the present administration.
