A private jet operated by Flint Aero, on Friday night, crash-landed at Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport in Ibadan, Oyo State.
According to Nigeria Safety Investigation Bureau, (NSIB), the aircraft en-route Ibadan from Abuja at 18.41hrs, but crashed into the bush short of the runway at about 19.21hrs, on Friday, November 3.
In the report shared by the Agency on Saturday, November 4, noted that the aircraft is an HS 125 with Registration Marks 5N-AMM belonging to Flint Aero, had 10 passengers and 3 crew members onboard.
Aboard the crashed aircraft was the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, and some of his aides.
NSIB stated that there was no fatality, as all passengers and crew were safely evacuated.
The agency also disclosed that they have started investigations into the jet crash-landing incident.
The agency further pleaded with the public to share which ever information that will help in the probe, “As the investigating agency, NSIB needs and hereby solicits your assistance. We want the public to know that we would be amenable to receiving any video clip, relevant evidence, or information any members of the public may have of the accident; that can assist us with this investigation.”
