Nollywood Actress, Kate Henshaw, has said that she will forever remember the judgement pronounced by Justice Rahman Oshodi, on Olufemi Olaleye who sexually Assaulted a 15-year-old girl.
The Lagos State Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos had on Tuesday, October 24, sentenced Olaleye to life imprisonment after the judge, found him guilty of the offence of defilement and sexual penetration of a 15-year-old girl in Lagos.
Olaleye was arraigned on two counts bordering on defilement and sexual assault by penetration of his wife’s niece, preferred against him by the Lagos State Government.
In celebration, Henshaw said ” It is a day I will forever remember”.
Henshaw also said that Olaleye had tried to bribe the girl, before the judgement reading, “before this judgement was read, he was still trying to bribe the girl”.
According to her, his plans didn’t work as they gave his money back to him.
Henshaw further thanked Lagos State Government and all other organizations that helped to put Olaleye behind bars and advised other states to join in the fight against sexual assault.
She also said that no one is beyond the law, “be small, poor, rich, you are not beyond the law”
