Members of Intellectual Hub in Benin City on Sunday, May 3, gave out palliatives in the form of food items to some members of the public to cushion the effects of the government’s stay at home order to curb the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.
While giving out the food items to the beneficiaries, the convener of Intellectual Hub, Douglas Ogbankwa Esq urged Edo People and Nigerians to adhere to the government’s restriction order and stay at home so as not to contact the dreaded coronavirus as that is the most effective way of preventing it’s spread.
Items given out by Intellectual Hub include rice, beans and palm oil. Over 100 persons benefited from the gesture.
Intellectual Hub is a group of young professionals who are contributing to societal development using their professional expertise and deploying their personal resources to enhance the living standards of the less privileged.
Recall that the group had earlier presented Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to officials on the frontline in the war against Covid-19 in the state.
