The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has taken the former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, to the Federal High Court, Abuja, today, Wednesday, November 8.
The Federal Hight Court had ordered EFCC to produce Emefiele in court on Monday, November 6 or release him unconditionally but failed to comply.
Therefore, the court restated its order and adjourned the proceedings till Wednesday, November 8.
However, EFCC complied with the order as Emefiele was led into the court by heavily armed operatives.
As at the time of filing this report, the judge is, however, yet to sit.
