The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), National Assembly hopeful for Isu/Nwagele Federal Constituency, in Imo State, Barr. Kelechi Nnadi has felicitated with Nigerian workers on the occasion of May Day celebration.
In a statement made available to press, the House of Representatives hopeful promised to tackle the issue of unemployment if he gets into the chambers in the forthcoming general elections.
According to him, the plight of the Nigeria worker is not a hidden fact, hence it has become necessary for government to give speedy consideration to matters relating and affecting workers welfare in the country.
Nnadi described workers as the life wire of Nigeria adding that government cannot in view if that fact omit requisite welfare for the workers.
He also called on executive councils of Trade Union Congress (TUC) and Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and other trade unions to sensitize their members to obtain their PVC as that is the only way to enthrone leaders that will protect their interest.
Barr Nnadi, however, called on the Federal Government to be more critical and vehement in its pursuit for the actualization of the National minimum wage committee for a new minimum wage for Nigerian workers.
