The late chief of army staff (CAOS), Taoreed Lagbaja has been lte to rest in Abuja.
Lagbaja was buried on Friday at the National Military Cemetery in Abuja.
He died battling an undisclosed ailment.
Lagbaja’s Funeral proceedings began on Thursday with a service of songs at the army headquarters garrison parade ground, Mogadishu cantonment, Abuja.
A funeral service was held on Friday morning at the National Christian Centre.
Lagbaja was appointed COAS by President Bola Tinubu on June 19, 2023.
