Varied sources have clashed over the cause of the death of the late Senator representing Anambra South, Ifeanyi Ubah.
The late Senator who was a business man and football lover, according to sources, died in London on Saturday.
According to VANGUARD, Ubah died in a UK hospital where he went for an operation.
VANGUARD source stated that, “Yes, he is dead.”
“We are waiting for the family to issue a statement. We spoke to him three times yesterday, before he went into the theatre for the operation.”
Meanwhile, PUNCH reports that, Senate spokesperson, Yemi Adaramodu, confirmed Ubah’s death on Saturday, stating that the Chief Executive Officer of Capital Oil, was said to have died in a hotel in London, the United Kingdom, on Saturday.
Ubah, who would have been 53 on September 3, was re-elected into the 10th Senate under the Young People’s Party, had last year defected to the All Progressive Party.
