Nollywood Veteran Actor, Jide Kosoko, has said that the reason Democracy is enjoyed in Nigeria today is because President Tinubu fought for it.
Kosoko went on to state that he has no regrets about voting for Tinubu, adding he is “doing very well” despite the difficulties of rebuilding a shattered economy.
The Veteran Actor stated during a recent interview with Bae U Barbie “Curiosity Made Me Ask”.
Kosoko stressed that restoring the economy is a difficult and time-consuming task.
When the host asked him, if the people that voted for Tinubu should be bullied, Kosoko said: “That is their own business. Their own cup of tea. I am entitled to my opinion. I love the man I voted for. And I know he is doing well.
“He is doing well. If only you know how repairing things are, you will understand that he is doing very well.
“I voted for him because I have known him for a long time. And I have seen quite a lot of his contributions to nation building.
“You cannot even talk about this present democracy that we are all enjoying without saying Tinubu’s name among the people that struggled for us to have it.”
