The governorship election petition tribunal in Lafia, Nasarawa state, has removed the sitting Governor, Abdullahi Sule and declared David Ombugadu, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), winner of the 2023 governorship election.
During the ruling on Monday, October 2, the Chairman of the tribunal, Justice Ezekiel Ajayi, declared Emmanuel Ombugadu of the PDP as the lawfully elected governor of Nasarawa State.
