Ghanaian premium water brand, Verna Natural Mineral Water has appointed 3 young Ghanaian models living with Autism as Brand Ambassadors for their newly launched rebranded products.
The girls namely; Nana Yaa Ohenewa Kuffor, Maame Bema Baffour Awuah & Yacob Tete-Manon were outdoored with a photo-shoot session at the a short ceremony held at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra.
For the purpose of grooming these beautiful autistic girls to become models, Twellium Industrial Company Limited engaged the 3 girls and paired them with great celebrities such as Juliet Ibrahim, Naa Ashorkor, Anita Akuffo, Deborah Vanessa, Victoria Lebene, Afi Antonio, Charlotte Derban and other top models.
In a short interaction with Prince Akpah, Afi Antonio; mentor to and trainer of the girls, she expressed joy at having Twellium Industrial Company Limited deciding to include the girls for their relaunch of Verna Natural Mineral Water. She asked that other brands emulate this initiative to include people with any form of disorder or disability as they are all humans like us but only different.
She further stated that this will help other parents with such children to have hope and to confidently bring them out than hiding them. She concluded by saying the children have special talents hidden in them, these can be discovered only when we love and embrace them as part of society.
