Oyebanji stated that the state’s 3.5MW Independent Power Plant Project is to supply power to government offices and Tertiary institutions in the affected LGAs of the state.
He also said his administration is working towards enhancing the states’ tourism sector, adding that the people of the state should avoid activities impede performance of his appointees.
He said, “We are reconnecting Ikogosi, Erijiyan and Ikogosi Resort Centre back to the national grid to enhance the state tourism corridor. We need N1bn to reconnect Ayekire, Ekiti East Local governments and their LCDAs after 10 years of darkness as well as Agriculture Processing Zone at Ikole back to the national grid.”
While speaking on infrastructure, Oyebanji mentioned that his administration would be strategic in the reconstruction of roads.
He also said that his government, in a bid to expand the scope of food production for food security, had given over 1,566 farmers production assets to enhance the production of food.
