The recent attack on Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor’s residence, who happens to be the lawyer of Nnamdi Kalu, the leader of IPOB has been condemned by a colleague and brother in person of Femi Fani-Kayode.
FFK made these revelations yesterday through his Twitter handle seeking the whereabouts of his barrister brother as no one has heard from him since the attack.
He stated that this is happening just after Barr Ejiofor had just buried his brother 4 days ago and that his family is still mourning their loss and now this traumatising killing of IPOB members cum two policemen in his country home.
Speaking further FFK said that according to what he heard ,a total of 4 people, including the young man that led me to his home from the traditional rulers palace had been killed and that his family were badly brutalised and traumatised.
Since I got this information this morning no-one, including his wife and children, have seen or heard from him. I pray he is safe and well.
I call for peace and restraint from all sides, the shedding of innocent blood is a great evil and I wholeheartedly condemn it. It is a terrible thing that has drastic, long-term and calamitous consequences for those that indulge in it and those that live and rule by it.
May the souls of all those that were killed this morning rest in peace and may God restore sanity and respect for human life to our country.
Those that rule by tyranny, brutality and the power of the gun shall not prevail.
