The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Aniocha North Chapter, has passed a vote of confidence on the Delta State Governor, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa, as well as the PDP, Delta State chairman, Barr. Kingsley Esiso, the Chairman PDP Delta North Senatorial District, Chief Moses Iduh, and the PDP Chairman, Aniocha North local government Area, Prince Victor Egbune, respectively.
The vote of confidence was passed on Governor Okowa and the other distinguished party members during an enlarged meeting of members of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) and members of Executives of Aniocha North, in Aniocha North Local Government Area Secretariat Issele-Uku Delta State, on February 13, 2018.
According to the Aniocha North Chapter of the PDP, the vote of confidence was sequel to the excellent performance of the PDP, the matured and peaceful conduct displayed by the leadership of the party in the just concluded Local Government Elections held across the state, as well as the outstanding and visionary leadership of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, which has led to completion of many legacy infrastructure rure projects all across Aniocha North Local government area.
Members of the party also used the meeting as a means to express their profound gratitude to His Excellency Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa, the Executive Governor of Delta state for the wonderful projects he has done in Aniocha North and to also congratulate the leadership of the party at the state level, senatorial zone and our local government, for the pragmatic cum result oriented management of the party, which metamorphosed into a comprehensive victory in the just concluded Local Government elections. We are optimistic that there will be a repeat of this feat come 2019 General Elections as the PDP is fully on ground in Aniocha North, Delta North and in Delta state” they added.
Members of the party, also used the platform to debunk the rumoured crack in the administrative wall of the Peoples Democratic Party in Aniocha North Local Council Area, noting that it was a mere figment of the imagination of some persons who did not wish the council well, stressing that they also allayed the fears of any form of victimization of members, saying that PDP in Aniocha North is a peaceful family and fully rebranded.
