The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Kano State, Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas, has stated that at the end of the tribunal, more seats including the seat of the governor will return to their party.
Abbas, noted this on Thursday, while reacting to the recent verdict made by the Election Petition Tribunal, he said, most of the candidates had forgery cases hanging on their necks.
The National and State House of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal on Thursday sacked the member representing Tarauni Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Umar Yerima, over certificate forgery.
Ababas, also said that about five members of the House of Representatives of the NNPP had cases of forgery hanging on their necks.
“We are confident that at the end of it, more seats would be returned to the APC by the court. This is just the beginning. Even the seat of the governor would be returned to us at the end of the day.
“They have violated many rules and regulations governing the conduct of elections during the polls and as such, the seats would be returned to the rightful owners,” Abbas added.
