…As Esiso Directs Candidates To Embark on Rigorous Grassroots Campaign.

The Governor of Delta State, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa has charged the people of Oshimili South Local Government Area on the need to continue with the evident good team spirit of oneness to 2019.
Governor Okowa gave this charge on Friday, November 17, 2017 at the Oshimili South Arcade in Asaba during the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) campaign towards the forthcoming the 2018 local government elections.
The Governor expressed his joy saying that he was overwhelmed by the massive turnout of the people of Oshimili South more than what was witnessed earlier in the day at Aniocha North and Oshimili North noting that he has never met the Asaba people in this way.
Okowa further hinted that modalities to make Asaba a more comfort zone are already at the peak of delivery adding that the people of Asaba have evidently done him well.
Speaking on behalf of the people, Member Representing Oshimili South Constituency, Hon Peter Owusanya hailed ‘Ekwueme’ of Delta state in person of Governor Okowa with good will messages stating that his return as the Governor in 2019 shall be unopposed and further thanked the great people of Oshimili South for coming out en masses to support the PDP Local Government candidates.
Also speaking at the campaign ground, the PDP State Chairman, Olorogun Barr Kingsley Esiso charged the people of Oshimili South on the pressing need for them to be united because things can only work where there is unity adding that all Councilors should not go home to sleep, but that they should go to their ward leaders and people for serious campaign.
Barr Esiso went further to present the parties chairmanship candidate in person of Comrade Uche Osadebe and Mr Sunday Okechukwu as vice chairman alongside the 14 Councilorship candidates.
The Party Chairman took a swipe on other political parties that made change promises but have now proven to be a negative one taking awareness of the evident recession cum suffering in the nation adding that PDP is preaching change but in positive light taking cognizance of the preaching of the SMART Agenda at all levels.
