The State leadership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has affirmed that Prince Victor Egbune remains the Aniocha North PDP Chairman.
A statement by the Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Mr. Ifeanyi Osuoza, described the rumour of the change of party chairman as baseless and advised the public to discountenance it.
Meanwhile the Aniocha North chapter of the People’s Democratic Party has constituted a seven man disciplinary committee headed by Barr. Andrew Odum, to determine the fate of the alleged anti-party activities which is in reaction to the recent alleged anti-party activities, which led to the suspension of its member representing the constituency at the delta State house of Assembly, Hon. Engr. Emeka Nwaobi and five other executive members of the party indefinitely, as contained in a communiqué jointly signed by 18 executive members of the party in the area after an enlarged meeting of the executive in the area.
The five erring executive member suspended with the lawmaker included Hon. Julius Ego, Secretary, Mr. K.C.Ogbolue, Auditor, Mrs. Dorothy Udeh, Woman Leader, Hon. Ejike Ogbechie, Ex-Officio, and Mr. Patrick Nwaoba, Ex- Officio.
