The Delta State Chairman of the Nigeria People’s Congress (NPC), Comrade Gabriel Mamuzo JP has said that NPC is ready to lock horns with the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) at the state level and All Progressive Congress (APC) at the National level, declaring that the party is fully ready to take over Delta State and the Nation in extension.
Comrade Mamuzo made these statements Wednesday, 14th February, 2018 at the party’s state secretariat in Asaba while receiving the verification team of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) who were at his office for physical assessment of the party’s state headquarter.
While welcoming the INEC officials to the Secretariat, Mamuzo, harped that NPC is a better alternative for Nigerians come 2019 and expressed gratitude for the INEC’s visit to the State Secretariat of his party, noting that it is an avenue to dialogue a robust symbiotic relationship with the electoral body as it concerns a common goal.
He lauded the Commission’s commitment to the verification of the physical structures of all political parties in the state especially on a lovely cum holy day like February 14th amidst their busy schedule. The chairman also commended INEC for a job well done in the past elections taking cognizance of the Warri South constituency 1, Anambra State elections, 2015 general elections and others.
Speaking further, Comr Mamuzo stated that the party has so far over the years seen the evident suffering at the state and federal level and is ready to cushion up the effects of these sufferings come 2019 as the party will be fielding in active, efficient, capable politically vibrant aspirants that are willing and ready to lead Nigeria as a country and its citizenry to a better level, adding that the party, Nigerian People’s Congress is an epitome of transparency and a beacon of hope and that they are ready to deliver onto the masses all that they have lost to bad leadership in time past.
He added that the party is gender and youth friendly and is going to field in trust worthy, reliable and capable youths and women aspirants come 2019 at all levels, stressing that the essence of women and youths in any political system can not be over emphasized.
Mamuzo advised all Deltans to first ensure that they go to the nearest INEC registration centers and register to get their voter’s cards, as this is the major tool they need come 2019 to choose the person of their choice.
