Rave of the moment Samuel Chukwueze says he hopes to keep scoring till the end of the season after netting and providing an assist against Barcelona in Villarreal’s 4-4 draw against the Catalan giants yesterday night at the Estadio de la Ceramica.
Chukwueze provided an assist for Karl Toko Ekambi in the 50th minute of the 8 goals thriller to make the scores 2-2.
He said; “I am so happy scoring against Barcelona. It was an amazing game yesterday night and I am happy about it. It’s just a normal game for me, I am going to keep my head down and keep on working hard. We pressed with the team with everything although we missed the 3points but we will keep on fighting”.
“I believe if I can be scoring every game. Every game is important to us because we can’t afford to lose any game or draw. We just need to keep winning. For me I just want to keep scoring every moment. Every moment of a game is my dream. As I said it’s just determination and I have to keep my head down and keep on working”.
The game burst into life after Philippe Coutinho had opened scoring for Barcelona in the 12th minute. Soon after, Malcom made it 2-0 in favour of the men from Barcelona in the 16th minute.
Super Eagles striker Samuel Chukwueze made it 2-1 in the 23rd minute before providing for Karl Toko Ekambi to make it 2-2.
In the 62nd minute Vicente Iborra put Villareal in front for the first time in the match to make it 3-2. Carlos Bacca extended the lead to 4-2 while Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez decided the last faith of the game by scoring in the Barcelona to make it 4-4 in the closing moment.
